CPPC champions evidence-based, balanced policies at the federal and state level that raise awareness of medical technology's role in public health and protect safe patient access to the innovative devices and diagnostics that improve health outcomes.

We envision a future where the public recognizes medical technology as essential to health, regulatory frameworks reflect the best available evidence, and no patient is denied safe access to the innovations that improve outcomes. 

WHY WE WERE FORMED

A Growing Gap in Patient-Centered Policy Advocacy

 As regulatory proposals proliferate at the state and federal level, patients and the industry that serves them needed a credible, unified voice grounded in evidence, not politics. CPPC was built to fill that gap.

Regulatory Fragmentation

 State and federal regulatory proposals were advancing without consistent, evidence-based input from the medical technology community or patient advocates.

Access at Risk

Restrictions and delays in medical technology access were creating real gaps in early detection, prevention, and treatment with serious consequences for patients.

A Voice Was Missing

No single coalition was positioned to represent the full breadth of stakeholders, industry, patients, and policymakers under one coherent, principled framework.
